Being from Alabama, I thought I might find this volume intriguing. Not so much. It is written on a third to fourth grade reading level and the known stories are ones which have been told and retold many times by far better story tellers. Some embellishments have been made by the author via personal experience or a fabrication there of. Terrible waste of trees.
