This is another of Kit Morgan's Clear Creek stories, all about the quirky but lovable characters of the little town. Three sisters become mail-order brides to escape loveless arranged marriages to three elderly (but wealthy) perverts. Unfortunately, Mrs. Pettigrew has jumped the gun and sent the girls before their prospective grooms are ready to marry. This is a fun romp with not one but three romances to sort out. I really enjoy this series.
I love Kit Morgan and her Clear Creek stories. This newest edition is a whole new level of fun. It isn't the first time three sisters have come to town as mail-order brides, but the Comfort brothers weren't expecting them. This light-hearted story made me laugh and I know that I'll enjoy it again and again.
I love reading Kit Morgan's books and this is a good one. The storyline was awesome and the characters were great. It was action packed from cover to cover.

This is the first of the Mail Order Ink stories that I have read. My enjoyment proves that you can jump in anywhere. Once again, I didn't really choose to jump in the middle, I just jump when I see something I like. A fine way to pick a book, in my opinion.The three Callahan sisters, Hunny, Rosie, and Georgie, are in desperate straits. Their aunt, who treats them as servants, has suddenly arranged marriages for them.......to men old enough to be their grandfathers! And she has hired guards to see that they don't run off. But Hunny manages to see the town matchmaker and beg for help. She comes through with money and tickets to send them to Clear Creek, Oregon to marry three brothers. But when they arrive, the brothers know nothing about them. Michael, Darcy, and Zachary Comfort are planning to marry someday and, due to the shortage of women, they are planning to send for brides. But they have just started building their houses. They are not ready to marry and they did not send for them. What can the sisters do? They certainly can't go back!I enjoyed this story immensely. There were three love stories going on here. And Aunt Henrietta was a formidable villain! She was rich enough to send men after them. But would she? Of course, after the muddled beginning, the brothers were attracted to the sisters, but there were some pairing up problems. They paired up by age Could they admit to preferring another? Ah, of course, the problems are what makes the story interesting.I highly recommend this book. I am looking forward to reading more in this series. How about you? Want to jump in?I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited.
I have enjoyed the Dear Mr. series by Kit Morgan, and I really liked being able to go back to Clear Creek and revisit some of my favorite characters. But this story was too drawn out for me. It took so long for the ladies to get to meet the men, then since they weren't expected, there wasn't a whole lot of interaction with them for quite a while. The misunderstanding/mix-up lasted too long as well. I really thought that Georgie was very immature and no way ready to marry. My favorite couple was Michael and Hunny - I rather wish the story had focused only on one couple. In addition, I prefer mail order bride stories where they actually MARRY right away! Then we get to read about how they adjust and about love blossoming. It just took too long for that to happen, and I felt cheated because I wanted to know how the women adjusted to living apart for the first time in their lives, and living in the small cottages. 3.5 Stars for me.
